Keypad – hold down for at least 3 seconds

1 Bell/Battery test : need replacement if no sound or weak

2 Display Bypass Zone : to see zones which have been bypassed

3 Trouble Zone : to see zones which are not secured

4 Instant protection : cancel entry delay

5 Chime : beep each time a zone is opened while system is off or in unarmed zone

6 Phone line test : pulsing stop if good, otherwise steady tone. Reset by pressing 9

9 Reset : hold down until beep to clear all

* Hold-down function, continue to press for scrolling

# Zone directory, continue to press for scrolling

Panic: *# at same time

Turn away alarm ON

• Secure windows and doors, no motion in path of sensor, green status light ON
• Enter arm code, green light off, red light on

Turn away alarm OFF

• Keypad sounder is on upon entry
• Enter code immediately to disarm

Turn stay-in alarm ON

• Deactivate all interior zones by pressing down Bypass key and then zone number in 2 digits, again until all zones done
• Set alarm with code

Program user code

· Press 8 key till the sounder beeps

· Press old code. All lights will flash.

· Press B and 1, then new code in 4 digits

· Press B again twice (thrice for MA1016 Series
